Principal Collyn Nielsen, Assistant Principal John Turner, and Athletic Director Linda Peckham introduced new head coach Justin Lundin to all levels of the Hart girls soccer program on Thursday, Oct. 4. Coach Lundin returns to Hart, where he was a lower level coach in the boys program a few years ago. Coach Lundin has extensive soccer coaching experience in the Santa Clarita Valley, including the last four years as head coach of the College of the Canyons (COC) women’s program. At COC, he has taken the soccer program to new heights, including a Western State Conference championship last year. He was also named Western State Conference Coach of the Year in 2011.
Coach Lundin graduated from California State University, Northridge, with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in kinesiology.
Hart High School will be organizing a Meet the Coach night in the very near future.
